Our service fee is a fixed, tiered fee based on the final hammer price in Japan.
This fee covers the managed AutoSelecta service, including:
- Access to Japanese auction inventory
- Licensed auction agent bidding on your behalf
- Bid review and buyer support
- Purchase administration and settlement coordination
- Documentation handling and export preparation support
SHIPPING & LOGISTICS
Shipping costs vary by vehicle size and route.
This typically includes:
- Container / RoRo shipping from Japan to the UK
- Shipping booking and coordination
- Ocean freight and carrier documentation
We’ll provide an estimate before you bid, and confirm final shipping once the vehicle is secured.
DEPOSIT
To maintain a secure and professional auction environment, a deposit is required before placing bids.
- A refundable deposit amount is frozen prior to bidding
- This confirms genuine purchase intent
- If you win, the commitment is automatically applied toward your final balance
- If you do not win, no purchase fees are charged and your commitment is refunded.
UK IMPORT COSTS & TAXES
UK import-related charges apply once the vehicle arrives.
These may include:
- Customs clearance
- Vehicle handling and release charges
- Import duty
- VAT
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
After import, we can assist with:
- Mechanical servicing through trusted partner workshop
- Interior and exterior detailing
- Paint Protection Film (PPF) options
- Radio conversion to UK/European frequencies
- MOT and UK registration support
- UK delivery to your address or collection from AutoSelecta
